For a long time when sexual assault or partner violence was talked about, we mainly focused on the person committing the violence or the potential victim. This training is based on the belief that the greatest power is in the bystander – each one of us. Through our Green Dot bystander intervention training, you will become more aware of your obstacles as a bystander in our community. We will provide you with the knowledge and tools needed get around your obstacles and in turn become an active bystander and make our campus safer.
Trainings take place on various days of the week and will last 4 hours and 30 minutes, which includes a break for lunch or dinner. Each training will be led by two of our certified Green Dot trainers. All attendees must register online in advance in order to attend a training. Are you interested in getting your club, organization, or department trained together? To schedule a private training for your group, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
