Sign Up for Messina by June 2
Visit www.loyola.edu/department/messina/register to sign up for Messina, Loyola’s first-year living learning program. Students should preference at least five Messina course pairings (one in the fall semester and one in the spring semester) they are interested in taking during their first year at Loyola. Students may still submit preferences and the Messina Office will work on a first-come, first-served basis to accommodate your course pairing requests after we have processed the students who submitted preferences on or before the priority deadline, June 2, 2016.

Complete online math and language placement tests by June 2
Placement tests will be available starting April 18, 2016. Information and instructions may be found at www.loyola.edu/aasc on the First-Year Students page. All students should take the placement exams—even if you have AP/IB/College Credit that will satisfy core requirement. The results from these placement tests will be used during class registration at Summer Orientation.

Consider registering for a Pre-Fall Program by July 8
Loyola's five Pre-Fall Programs offer the opportunity to get an early connection to Loyola and your classmates. Each of these experiences occurs just prior to the beginning of Fall Welcome Weekend, giving you a chance to arrive to campus a few days early and ease into your first year at Loyola. Students may NOT apply and register for multiple programs.

Complete University Health Forms by July 25
A mailing will be sent to your home address regarding health and immunization requirements for all full-time undergraduate students. It is recommended that you make an appointment with your health care provider when you receive this information so that you can have your health form completed and receive any necessary vaccinations. Students who do not submit their completed health form by July 25, 2016 will be unable to move on campus in the fall. Complete Think About It Part I by Aug. 30
Think About It prepares new college students for the unique challenges and responsibilities of college life. Focusing on minimizing risks associated with alcohol, drugs, and sexual violence, Think About It takes a harm-reduction approach that resonates with students and results in a healthy campus culture.
Resident students may not check into the residence halls until Part 1 is complete.
Information and instructions about Think About It will be sent via email to students on Aug. 1.
Complete the Academic Integrity Tutorial by Aug. 30
The Academic Integrity Tutorial introduces the Honor Code and is designed you know what academic integrity means at Loyola. The instructions for this online tutorial will be sent via email in early August.
