Loyola University Maryland will host the sixth annual “Emerging Scholars: A Celebration of Graduate Research,” an event highlighting the scholarly work of Loyola’s graduate community. The event will take place on Friday, April 24, 2015 at 5 p.m. at the Loyola/Notre Dame Library, 200 Winston Avenue, Baltimore, Md. 21212.
The evening will begin with a brief welcome and awards ceremony in the library's Ridley Auditorium, and then move upstairs to the Ferguson Gallery for the poster session and reception.
Awards to be presented include The Wise Medal for Distinguished Achievement in Education at the Graduate Level, The Dr. Bernard A. Saltysiak Medal for Clinical Excellence in Speech Language Pathology, the Dr. Barry K. Estadt Medal for Excellence in Pastoral Counseling, the Graduate Medal for Achievement Excellence in Psychology, and the Loyola University Maryland Award for Research in Theology.
The event is free and open to the public. Free parking is available in the library parking lot, or in the Butler Hall parking lot. RSVPs are not required, but appreciated. Dress is business casual.
