The program provides opportunities to students who identify as first-generation college students, demonstrate significant financial need, or come from diverse backgrounds. The Ignatius Scholars Program is designed for first-year students who exhibit strong academic promise, leadership abilities, and high professional aspirations.
Thirty scholars will participate in a highly selective program to get a head start on their college career. They will join together to create an academic foundation that will enable them to excel.
This program is co-sponsored by ALANA Services and the Academic Advising and Support Center.
The Ignatius Scholars program is made possible in part by funds provided by the Maryland College Access Challenge Grant Program.
