The annual Lattanze Executive of the Year award recognizes an executive that strives to lead through technology within a company that has used information technology to foster innovation and competitive advantage in business.
Fryhoff, who has more than 25 years of IT experience, oversees platform products of San Francisco-based salesforce.com, a global cloud computing company that provides the world’s #1 CRM platform. Forbes ranked salesforce.com the World’s Most Innovative Company in 2013.
Prior to joining salesforce.com, Fryhoff held management positions at Oracle, Digital Equipment Corp. and Control Data Corp. Fryhoff spent 16 years in product and sales leadership roles at Oracle and led the creation and launch of Exadata, Oracle’s next-generation hardware machine.
Fryhoff was a founding member on the boards of industry groups including the Open Services Gateway Initiative, Mobile Marketing Association, Mobile Payment Forum and PayCircle. She has sponsored business and technology research projects, including a project with the Global Information Industry Center at the University of California, San Diego, and the MIT Center for Digital Business.
The Lattanze Center at Loyola’s Sellinger School of Business will present Fryhoff with the Executive of the Year award on Thursday, Nov. 13, where she will deliver a presentation entitled, “Innovation in the Cloud: The Evolution of salesforce.com.” Attendance is free and open to the public.
