Purpose: This site features justice initiatives at the 28 Jesuit colleges and universities in the U.S. History: In October 2000 the 28 universities sent delegations to the Commitment to Justice in Jesuit Higher Education conference; since that time the campuses have worked to strengthen the justice tradition that is a hallmark of Jesuit education. This site collects in one place information about justice initiatives at the 28 schools: nationally significant speakers and events, syllabi, research and publications of interest, noteworthy practices, reflections, assessment instruments, Ignatian spirituality resources, and calls for papers and dialogues. Loyola College hosts the site for the 28 Jesuit institutions. Additional information for this web site can be submitted to June Ellis at jellis@loyola.edu. |
