Public access catalogue (text-based only): "ORACLE" terminal in Room 55 and "ORACLE "terminals throughout the building. Web based stations in the Reference Center on the first floor. Dial-inand web access and campus network access. New audiovisual acquisitions appear in the Acquisitions List as well as the New Audiovisual Acquisitions List published periodically. Contact the AV Center if you wish to be put on the mailing list. Producer and distributor/ vendor catalogues for all media are kept in the Media Services as well as audiovisual equipment and supply catalogues.

GROUP-ROOM SPACE: Media and equipment may be used in 309 in the library located on the third floor and seats 45. Reservations for room 309 and equipment should be made as far in advance as possible to guarantee use of the facilities.
Media may be placed on reserve for individual and small group use in Media Services throughout the year.
Media may be previewed by request in Media Services. Reservations are recommended for equipment and times.
Order forms for requesting materials from the Loyola/Notre Library, and the Enoch Pratt Free Library are available from Media Services. Other requests should be made through the library's Interlibrary Loan department located on the lower level. Requests for material should be placed as far in advance as possible. The minimum time needed is as follows:
Media Services provides assistance in locating sources for audiovisual materials for preview/purchase and for rental/free-loan. The library does not rent material for either college. Rental costs must be paid with individual departmental funds. Media equipment information is also provided through reference materials and vendor catalogues. Interlibrary loan of audiovisuals is handled through the library's interlibrary loan department (ILL), as copyright restrictions permit.
Media Services assists library users in using micro form equipment (microfilm and microfiche) and in locating needed materials. EQUIPMENT: 4 microfiche reader/printers, 3 microfiche readers, 3 microfilm reader/printers, 1 microfilm readers
Video formats and 16mm films circulate to faculty for 5 days. Graduate students and college staff loan period is 3 days. Some videos identified in the catalog as FLICKs can now be taken out by undergraduates for two days. All other formats circulate for 3 weeks. There is no limit to the number of titles borrowed, but titles may only be renewed once.
The Loyola/Notre Dame Library has equipment to duplicate video and audio-tapes, and to make off-air recordings of satellite, television and radio broadcasts. All of these services, however, must conform to existing copyright regulations and licensing arrangements. A copy of off-air recording guidelines is available on request.
