1. Go to the library's homepage (www.loyola.edu/library or www.lndl.org).
2. Click on the link in the center column that says "Course Reserves."
3. Select your professor, department, and/or course, and you will get a list of items on
reserve for that class.
4. Click on the number next to the item you would like to look at, and the full record will open up.
5. If there is a link to an "e-item" or "e-article" or something similar in the record, click
on it to access the electronic document. You may be prompted to do something with Acrobat Reader.
Just follow the instructions, and click on "Open this file." If you are off-campus, you will be prompted
for your barcode number and last name. Your barcode number should be on your student i.d. card, beginning
with the numbers 2242...
Hard-copy reserves (i.e., paper copies of books or articles) are listed along with E-items in the
course reserve listings. Hard-copy reserves are kept behind the Circulation desk and are usually
subject to checkout restrictions. Consult with the Circulation desk for conditions pertaining to
specific items.
Note: Clicking on the E-Item should bring up the item itself. If you are taken to a subject list
or encounter any other problem, call the Reference desk at 410-617-6802
