Subjects include general Maryland history, public education in Baltimore, the Civil War (from the Confederate perspective in Baltimore/Maryland), history of medicine in Baltimore/Maryland, treatises on religion and/ or philosophy. Pamphlets have been grouped together by subject and listed similarly. The list reflects the order in which they have been placed in the container. Publishing information should be of local historical interest as most of the documents were printed in Baltimore which housed a significant printing industry in the City and throughout the State from colonial times through the mid twentieth century.
