Instruction and Orientations
Reference staff are available to provide library research instruction to academic classes, and will also conduct faculty/staff orientations. These sessions are scheduled at the request of Loyola and Notre Dame faculty and staff at the Loyola / Notre Dame Library, in local campus classrooms, and at satellite locations such as Timonium, Columbia or the HEAT center. The reference staff will customize a class to meet your needs. For sessions scheduled at the Loyola/Notre Dame Library, you can click here (and then click the "instruction labs" tab) to see class dates/times that are already booked.
Request a class
Students of Notre Dame of Maryland University and Loyola University may request a one-on-one, 30-minute meeting with a librarian. The purpose of the consultation generally is to aid students in finding and using resources for your research and assignments. Providing information about your assignment or research goals ahead of time will help ensure a productive session.
