Vol. 2, No. 2 Spring 2005

To Library Student Assistants

Jack Ray, Assistant Director

The Library employs approximately forty student assistants from Loyola and Notre Dame. These students, who generally work about ten hours per week, play a critical role in helping the Library fulfill its mission of providing services to the college communities. Library student assistants check out and shelve books and media, process interlibrary loans, type book orders, repair damaged books, and perform many other necessary tasks. On behalf of the full-time Library staff, I want to express my appreciation for the many hours of help we receive from student workers.

In particular, the Library’s congratulations and best wishes go to our graduating seniors, who this year are all from Loyola College:

    Lauren Cox – Media Services
    Katie Donovan – Media Services
    Matt Glynn – Circulation
    BJ Johnson – Media Services
    Mike Logie – Media Services
    Alyssa Newton – Circulation
    Megan Sudano – Technical Services
    Crystal Sullivan – Media Services
    Megan Thorne-Fitzgerald – Media Services
    Mike Waldron – Maintenance
    Joe Weidenburner – Media Services
    Colleen Whitehead – Media Services
    Jonee Wilson – Technical Services
