Requesting an item in the catalog
To get a circulating book you have found in the catalog, but is only in one or
more of the other MIC libraries (not Loyola Notre Dame Library),
bring up the item record and make an online request (see the "make a request" link
on the right-hand side of the item record). You will be asked for your last
name and barcode, and you will need to specify the point of delivery on the final page. If you have trouble,
contact a Research & Instruction librarian for help. With the exception
of faculty, who may also order some media items, only circulating books may
be requested. Items take approximately 24 hours to arrive.
