"BALC" denotes the Baltimore Academic Library Consortium,
which has reciprocal borrowing among its members (see the starred ( * ) libraries on the
"Other MD Libraries" page for a list of libraries
with reciprocal borrowing).
"MIC" denotes the Maryland Interlibrary Consortium,
which has daily book-shuttle service among its members for most of the year. All MIC holdings
are included in SHARC, the library catalog, and can be ordered using the "make a request" tab at
the upper right of a catalog item record page. MIC currently includes Hood, Mt. St. Mary's,
Loyola/Notre Dame, Washington Adventist and Stevenson.
