Scholarly Journals
  • Articles usually longer, more in-depth
  • Authors are usually specialists with degrees or other credentials
  • Articles are written for, and selected by, other specialists ("peers") in the field
  • Contain few ads, photos or illustrations
  • Sources are fully cited
