Emerging Leaders Conference
Knowing Yourself as a Leader

Designed for first-year students, this conference proves to be an influencing factor on future leadership involvement for those students who attend. First-year students who show signs of leadership potential are nominated by faculty, administrators, and student leaders to attend the day-long program. Ashley Vaughan, Class of 2010 will begin the day as our featured keynote speaker.  Following the keynote address, there will be a variety of interest sessions, including a student leader panel, finding leadership in your academics, communicating with others, and many more.  Based on past years’ feedback, students who have attended this conference were more likely to apply for and attain leadership positions on campus during the spring semester.
