Martini, Ph.D., Author, Speaker, and Leader of Leaders. Dr. Martini retired from the navy as Captain in 1998. During his navy career, he earned three master’s degrees in International Affairs, Business Finance, and Education. Following retirement, he was awarded a doctoral degree with distinction in Education from the George Washington University. He is currently the Director, Executive Leadership Programs with Academy Leadership and an adjunct professor in Organizational Leadership Management and Ethics at Regent University and adjunct professor at Villanova University, teaching Ethics and Leadership. During his military career, he commanded a U.S. Navy P-3 squadron. He was awarded the Legion of Merit, Defense Distinguished Service Medal and Meritorious Service Medal. Dr. Martini authored two books, The first, My father’s Compass, is about his family’s immigration from Italy, beginning with his grandfather’s generation, to the US, and the leadership his grandfather and his father taught and modeled which made the family successful and helped them remain close. The second book is Inspiring Leadership, Character and Ethics Matter. Dr Martini will speak on leadership strategies that have been proven over millennia and across disciplines. He will inspire professional counselors of all disciplines to develop and reach their own leadership potential and become set apart as leaders in their fields. His clinical focus is on counseling elementary school-aged children affected by trauma. Dr. Greene will speak on Play Therapy.
