       Interdisciplinary Major in Mathematical Sciences

Interdisciplinary majors may be arranged between Mathematical Sciences and another discipline.  The Mathematical Sciences component of the interdisciplinary major is described below.  Students planning an interdisciplinary major must contact each department to determine the department's requirements for the interdisciplinary major.

    Mathematical Sciences Courses required:
    a) MA 251, MA 252, and MA 351: Calculus I-III
    b) Either ST210: Introduction to Statistics or ST 265: Biostatistics
    c) MA 301: Linear Algebra
    d) Depending on the track selected, a one-credit computer course: either MA 302: Matlab or ST 365: SAS Laboratory
