Jedidiah D. Adams, Loyola '09, is a Theology major. His area of specialization for Measure for Measure was the internet. Jedidiah works for Technology Services on campus, is currently completing an independent study on the theology of hell, and will be studying abroad in New Zealand in the spring where he intends to begin learning Greek. After graduation, Jedidiah plans to go to graduate school to pursue further studies in Theology. He is fully aware that technological and theological abilities do not generally coincide, and hopes that he can somehow be useful through one of the two fields.

Sarah P. Biernacki

Sarah P. Biernacki, Loyola ’09, is an English major, with double minors in Classical Civilization and Medieval Studies.   Her area of specialty for Measure for Measure was sources and adaptations, and she primarily edited 2.2 and 2.3.  She is a member of the English Honor Society (Sigma Tau Delta), and she was twice awarded first prize in the Honors essay contests. She plans to become a professor in either Medieval or Victorian English literature. 

Hannah W. Blauvelt, Loyola ’09, is an English major and secondary education minor from Rockville, MD.  She is member of Sigma Tau Delta English Honors Society, Kappa Delta Pi Education Honors Society, and the 2007 recipient of the Special Achievement in English award at Loyola College. She presented her paper, “Morality Plays and Machiavellianism in Richard III,” at Villa Julie College’s 2007 undergraduate conference “Conflicts: Natural, Cultural, and Political” and at Loyola’s 2007 Undergraduate Student Research Colloquium. In Summer 2006, Hannah was the Smithsonian education intern at the National Zoo in Washington, D.C.  She plans to go to graduate school to pursue a PhD in English or high school administration.

Amanda Cammerata

Amanda Cammarata, Loyola ’09, is an English major with a double minor in secondary education and Spanish.  Her area of specialization was early criticism and the annotated bibliography.  She is a member of the International English Honor Society (Sigma Tau Delta), and the National Jesuit Honor Society (Alpha Sigma Nu). In 2007, she presented her paper titled “The Public and Private Man in Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar” at the Undergraduate Student Research and Scholarship Colloquium and received third place in the Arts and Humanities division. Amanda will be playing Francisca in the Loyola College Evergreen Players’ production of Measure for Measure.  After graduation, she plans to teach high school English and to pursue a graduate degree in English Education. 

Alison J. Koentje, Loyola ’08, is an Interdisciplinary English and Writing Major with a Minor in Gender Studies.  She is a member of the English Honor Society (Sigma Tau Delta), the Writing Honor Society (Pi Epsilon Pi), and the National Jesuit Honor Society (Alpha Sigma Nu).  Alison is also the Editor-in-Chief of The Forum, Loyola's nonfiction literary magazine and currently interns at Mason-Dixon ARRIVE, an upscale monthly magazine that focuses on the Chesapeake lifestyle.  After graduation, Alison plans to move to Boston to work in publishing.  She considers editing Measure for Measure to be the most rewarding experience she has had during her undergraduate career.
