Applicants seeking admission to the M.Ed. program in Montessori Education must have completed a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with an overall GPA of 3.00 or above for unconditional acceptance. Individuals with GPA's between 2.75 and 3.00 may be considered for provisional admission status. Additional writing samples or test results may be requested before a final decision is made. Applicants seeking admission to the CAS program in Montessori Education must have completed a M.Ed. degree from an accredited college or university. Application Process Students applying for admission to Loyola's Graduate Programs in Montessori Education in collaboration with an affiliate AMI institute must make separate application to both the AMI institute and to Loyola University Maryland. All applications to Loyola University must be received no later than October 1 for the academic year in which the student's course of study begins. Applicants are encouraged to submit applications well before that date, particularly if they are planning to apply for federal student loans.
