About the National Fellowships Office The national fellowships office assists outstanding Loyola students with obtaining national fellowship and scholarship opportunities on both the undergraduate and graduate level. These competitive awards, available to use both in the United States and in other countries, confer unparalleled prestige while providing recipients with priceless educational and cultural experiences. Though individual competitions vary in financial value and scope, the application process alone can expand one’s vision regarding aspirations for the future, as well as suggest academic and extracurricular options that could enhance the possibilities for a life rich with purpose and meaning beyond the academy. Since 1983, Loyola students have won more than 80 major awards. The national felllowships office can provide insight into which fellowships and scholarships might be best for you as well as give you guidance on how to start your application. Competing for an award takes considerable thought and effort. The more time allowed for compiling and refining your application, the greater your chances for success. Attending an information session is perhaps the best way to begin. Several sessions are held each month. Students may also make an appointment for individual counseling. Contact me at nationalfellowships@loyola.edu to get started today. I look forward to working with you.
