Loyola mourns Adam Pomper of the Class of 2015

The Loyola University Maryland community is mourning the loss of Adam Pomper, a member of the Class of 2015, who passed away on June 12, 2012.

A native of Huntington, N.Y., and a graduate of St. Anthony’s High School, Pomper was a student-athlete on the men’s lacrosse team and a communication major.

“As a coach and father, my heart goes out to Adam’s family and friends, as we are deeply saddened to learn of his passing. I don’t know that there are adequate words to describe the loss and grief we are feeling in the Loyola lacrosse family. We will continue to look to each other for strength as we keep Adam’s family in our prayers,” said Charley Toomey, head coach of Loyola’s men’s lacrosse team.
