Loyola and corporate and foundation partners connect at events
Throughout the spring, members of the Loyola community and key corporate and foundation partners had opportunities to connect at a variety of events throughout the region, including two men’s lacrosse games featuring the Greyhounds team that went on to claim the University’s first national championship in its NCAA Division I history.
A wide variety of friends from the corporate community turned out for the March 21 game against the Georgetown Hoyas in the Class of 1968 Greyhound suite at Loyola’s Ridley Athletic Complex. A few weeks later, PNC staff members and other supporters attended a reception in the suite during the April 28 regular season finale against Johns Hopkins. That game turned out to be the Greyhounds' only loss this championship season, but all those in attendance enjoyed the exciting, down-to-the-wire-in-overtime action between the Charles Street rivals.
Athletics events weren’t the only opportunities for the University to connect with its partners throughout the community. On March 8, Loyola and the Columbia Foundation co-hosted “Celebrate Howard County,” a reception at the Loyola Graduate Center–Columbia Campus honoring the friends, partners, alumni, and others throughout Howard County who have supported the University and the foundation.
