Sellinger School named among best business schools by Princeton Review
PrincetonThe Loyola University Maryland Sellinger School of Business and Management has been included in the Princeton Review's Best 296 Business Schools: 2013 Edition, joining the elite list of top U.S. and international schools for the fourth year in a row.

The Princeton Review, an educational services company, selects the schools based on the quality of their academic programs and other institutional data. Schools are not ranked on a hierarchical list, meaning no school was named "best overall" or given a specific numerical ranking on the list.

However, the Princeton Review surveys 19,000 students at the 280 U.S. schools and 16 international schools to ask for students’ opinions on academics, student body, and campus life, with additional questions about students’ career plans. Highlights from the "Survey Says …" Sellinger School profile include:

  • Happy students
  • Students love Baltimore
  • The Sellinger School offers solid preparation in doing business in a global economy

Students also praised the influence of Loyola’s Jesuit mission on the Sellinger School's rigorous academics, citing "commitment to excellence" and "strong belief in business ethics" as reasons for picking the program. The Sellinger School was also commended for its strong alumni network that provides valuable networking and mentoring opportunities for students.

Through the Sellinger School, Loyola offers an Executive Fellows MBA, Professional’s MBA, Emerging Leaders MBA, Master of Science in Finance, Accounting Certificate, and Cybersecurity Certificate. Those programs are located at Loyola’s graduate centers in Timonium, Md. and Columbia, Md. The Sellinger School's AACSB accreditation makes Loyola the only private institution in the state of Maryland with a nationally accredited business school.

A complete list of the "Best 296 Business Schools" can be found on the Princeton Review’s website.
