Get Involved and Stay Connected through Regional Parents’ Events

The Loyola community understands that you may not be able to visit campus as often as you might like, but we still want to do all we can to make these years as memorable for you as they are for your sons and daughters. The University, with the support of the Parents Council, a group of parents who have volunteered to become leadership donors and serve as ambassadors for Loyola, hosts regional receptions in eight areas each academic year to bring a bit of Loyola to you. These events provide a unique opportunity for you to receive an update on the latest developments at the University and to hear our president—Rev. Brian F. Linnane, S.J.—offer his reflections on these projects and programs. You will also have the opportunity to meet and talk with some of the deans and administrators who work directly with your sons and daughters.

At present, we have regional chapters in:

  • Baltimore
  • Connecticut
  • Long Island
  • New England
  • Northern New Jersey
  • Philadelphia
  • Washington, D.C.
  • Westchester County, N.Y.

Receptions will be held this spring on March 9 in the Washington, D.C., area; March 11 in Northern New Jersey; and April 8 in New England. A reception in has been tentatively scheduled for March 23 in Connecticut. Invitations to these events will be sent to parents living in these areas.
