| Campus Ministry invites you to get an early start with one of your most important challenges in college: making connections. The connections you develop here at Loyola with your peers, mentors, neighbors, and God will profoundly affect your college experience and your life beyond Loyola. So join other first-year students, upperclass students, and Campus Ministry professional staff members for our Pre-Orientation program this August and begin forging lasting relationships. Learn about ways you can connect with the Loyola community through retreats, liturgical or music ministry, and spiritual development programs. Connect with the city of Baltimore with a trip to the Inner Harbor, and begin connecting with your Baltimore city neighbors through a community service project. We’ll join together for four days of social, service, and spiritual activities and help you begin to find a home here at Loyola grounded in real connections.

$150 per person (includes all meals, activities, transportation, and supplies)
A maximum of 30 new students will be selected. Application Process:
Complete the application form and submit it along with a short essay not to exceed two pages double-spaced. Please answer the following questions in your essay: - What motivates you to apply for Connections?
- Tell us about a connection you have made that has impacted your spiritual journey and/or your relationship with God.
The deadline for applications is July 17, 2009. At that time we will select up to 30 participants among the applicants. Please do not send payment until you have been notified of your selection. All applicants will be contacted via email by July 31st. If you are invited to participate in Connections you will be asked to send your payment of $150 to Campus Ministry by August 14th.
