You can easily access your G: drive and other Loyola network drives from your home computer. To set up your computer to access these drives, you'll need to follow these instructions. For Windows XP For Windows Vista For Mac Click on your Start button and choose "My Network Places." 
Then click on "Add a Network Place." 
A wizard will appear on your screen. Click "Next" when it appears. Now, click on "Choose another network location," and then click "Next." 
If you are a : in the Internet or Network Address window, type: https://webfolder.loyola.edu/students/ If you are : in the Internet or Network Address window, type https://webfolder.loyola.edu/dfs 
Click "Next." Enter your Loyola username and password. 
You will now need to give your network a name. In this example, it is called "Loyola Network Drives," but you may name it anything that will remind you that this is how you access your G: and other Loyola network drives. 
Click "Next." On the next screen, click "Finish." If you check the box with "open this network place when I finish," you will be asked to enter your Loyola username and password again. 
Your computer is now set up to access your Loyola network drives. To access your drives, simply click on "Start" and then "My Network Places." You will now see an icon for your Loyola network drives. Double click on the icon, and you'll see your Loyola network drives. : Once you click on the icon for your G: drive, you will see a folder with your class year. Open that folder to access your G: drive. Click on the Windows button and then select Computer. 
A new window will open. Click on Map Network Drive. 
In the new window, select a drive letter your computer is not using. In this example L: has been chosen. If you are a , enter https://webfolder.loyola.edu/students in the "Folder:" field. Click Finish. If you are , enter https://webfolder.loyola.edu/dfs in the "Folder:" field. Click Finish. 
You will get a login screen. Type your username and password. Click on OK. 
A new window will open (Note: you may be required to log in again) containing your available drives.
