Account Management

What is my Loyola username? 
A unique identifier assigned to each person at Loyola that normally contains elements of your name.  New users at Loyola receive this information via a US postal mailer.  It is your Loyola email address without “@loyola.edu”

How do I reset my password? 
Please visit the Change Password service. If you need further assistance, please contact the Office of Technology Support on 410-617-5555.

What does my Loyola username provide access to? 
Faculty are able to access: 

  • Computing, Email
  • G Drive (Personal Storage Space)
  • H Drive (Shared Storage Space)
  • Blackboard
  • WebAdvisor
  • Sharepoint
  • Inside Loyola

Staff & Administration are able to access:

  • Computing
  • Email

What responsibilities do I have as a Loyola account owner? 
Please review the University Information Security Policy, Ethical Use Policy, and
Confidentiality Agreement (Fac/Staff only).

Colleague Accounts 
The databases that Loyola uses to conduct its official business processes.  It is divided into six main applications: Financial; Student; CORE; two for programmers and Advancement, which is being developed for implementation in January 2010.  To request, your manager should send an email to colbenaccounts@loyola.edu requesting the creation of the account.  Needed information is the name of another user (to use a as model of the access) and specific budget numbers that the new user will access. 

Colleague Accounts for Non-Employees 
Refer to the forms section of human resources. A manager may download Non-Employee Request Form and follow the directions provided.

Data Standards for Colleague 
A document that lists and illustrates the agreed upon data entry standards for Colleague.  A copy is provided at the Colleague Orientation.  For additional information, contact the ASD Helpline at ext 1399.
