Inside Loyola

What is the Loyola Portal and how do I access it? 
The one-stop for access to all Loyola online services from a web browser.  An access point to unified university information (e-mail, calendar, Web Advisor, events, etc) is built upon SharePoint technology.  Inside Loyola can be found at; https://inside.loyola.edu. Enter your full Loyola email address and password, when prompted.  If you have further questions, simply contact the Office of Technology Support (OTS) at x5555 or at ots@loyola.edu.

What is SharePoint? 
SharePoint is the collaborative environment available to the campus community.  It allows Loyola organizations, committees, and teams to utilize the most current Web tools (blogs and wikis) coupled with the standard ones (discussion areas, shared documents, surveys, and more) in order to work together, communicate effectively, and share information.  The neat thing is that one login provides you with access to all groups you are participating in. 

How do I request a Sharepoint site in order to have team collaboration online? 
Contact the Office of Technology Support (OTS) at x5555 or ots@loyola.edu to be forwarded to a SharePoint consultant about your requirements and the set up of a collaborative site environment to suit your team's needs.

How to communicate with different constituents within the Portal 
Depends on how we set up the list mechanisms across constituency groups, and within specific constituency groups
