Loyola University Maryland

Continuing Education Programs

The Pastoral Counseling Department offers Continuing Education (CE) for mental health professionals and is an approved provider of CE by several professional organizations, including the American Psychological Association (APA), the American Counseling Association (ACA), and the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC).  Each CE event seeks to offer a collegial environment inviting individuals to meet seminar/workshop objectives in a manner that will facilitate practical application to professional settings. All CE provider credentials are reviewed and approved by the Director of CE in the Pastoral Counseling Department and Loyola University.  As such, the selected CE programing falls in line with the Pastoral Counseling Department’s therapeutic approach addressing both the psychological and spiritual dimensions of those in need of mental health care.
