Dr. Fialkowski received her master's and doctorate degrees in Pastoral Counseling from Loyola College and an M.A. degree in Systematic Theology from St. Mary's Seminary and University's Ecumenical Institute.  She has a personal and professional interest in the integration of spirituality and psychology and teaches both theology and counseling courses at Loyola.  She is a Licensed Clinical professional Counselor and a National Certified Counselor whose professional specialties are in the area of women's issues, loss and bereavement, couples counseling and working with adult survivors of trauma.  Dr. Fialkowski's pastoral experiences also include serving as a retreat director, counselor supervisor and a spiritual director.  She is a member of Alpha Sigma Nu, the American Counseling Association and ACA's Aservic division.
