Assistant Director of Recreational Sports (Business and Marketing)

Andrew Jordan joined the department of recreational sports staff in August 2011 as the assistant director of recreational sports, business and marketing. Andrew supervises the welcome desk attendants and member services staff as well as oversees all financial aspects of the FAC, and develops and leads the department in marketing initiatives.

Andrew graduated from the Ohio State University in June 2009 where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Sport and Leisure Studies and Leadership Humanities. He continued his education and in May 2011 he received his Master of Science Degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Campus Recreation Leadership from James Madison University in Virginia. While at JMU, Andrew served as the graduate assistant of member services and equipment center. Andrew has been active in NIRSA since 2006 and has attended numerous state, regional, and annual conferences.

Andrew enjoys spending time with his wife, Natalie, two year old son, Gallagher, and two and a half year old dog, Hobey. Andrew’s family enjoys doing a variety of activities and are always looking for new ways to keep their son entertained. Some of his favorite activities are playing and watching hockey, golf, and baseball. He enjoys playing catch with his son and “fetch” with his dog. Andrew’s favorite TV show is "How I Met Your Mother."
