The Department of Recreational Sports is proud to announce our partnership with Union Memorial Sports Medicine in offering an Athletic Trainer to our club sport student-athletes.

Randy Toth, ATC, will be offering training room hours at the FAC from 5-6 and 8-9, Monday to Friday, and will be covering weeknight outdoor practices and weekend club sport matches.  All club sport athletes are invited to visit him during these times, or you can call him at x5439 to schedule an appointment.

Randy Toth is entering his fifth season as the Athletic Trainer (ATC) for the Baltimore Blast Indoor Soccer Club. As the ATC, he is responsible for all medical aspects including prevention, evaluation, and treatment of team members. In only 4 years of service, he has helped the Blast win 2 Major Indoor Soccer League Championships.

Prior to the Blast, he completed an internship with the Buffalo Bills. He also has ongoing experience with elite athletes and has served as an ATC for the United States Olympic Training Center, Jr. Men's Softball World Championships and Senior Men's National Softball Team.

Toth holds certifications from the National Athletic Trainers Association, National Strength and Conditioning Association and National Academy of Sports Medicine. He is also active in the Maryland Athletic Trainers Association and recently accepted the Public Relations committee chair position. He earned his Master's degree from Salisbury University and Bachelors degree from East Stroudsburg University.
