| | | 2006-07 Team Summary
The Club Field Hockey Team was excited to welcome back coaches Kristy Norbert and Schoen Oakes for the 2006 season. The coaches made a big impact upon the team, and their contributions cannot go unnoticed. The team returned a number of players from the 2005-2006 season, and welcomed many talented freshmen to the roster. The fall season started off slow, with the team losing its first few games. However, the team steadily improved, finishing the season strong with exciting overtime victories over St. Joseph’s, Georgetown, and Towson. The team finished the fall season with a record of 3-7. The spring season was much more laid back than the fall. The players traveled to William and Mary for their sole tournament of the season. The team made a strong showing at the tournament, playing well against a number of strong teams. Based on the level of play displayed by the team at this tournament, as well as the end of the fall season, the team is expected to make a strong showing next season. The team loses only four seniors to graduation, and is expected to return a large, dedicated junior class and a number of talented sophomores next year. Based on the contributions of the members of these classes, the team looks to be successful in the future.
