UNIVERSITY-EMPLOYER PARTNERSHIPS

The expectation that you'll pursue excellence in academics is balanced with the hope that, once the books are closed, you'll live life with passion. That you'll join clubs and impromptu gatherings to do the things you love. And try as many new things as you can possibly fit into your schedule. That you'll remember to take a lot of pictures. Because if history is any indication, the memory of your experiences here will guide the rest of your life, helping you live well the things you learned at Loyola. Poetically speaking, Strong Truths, Well Lived.

Labeling Loyola grads isn't easy.
But there's one label employers seem
to agree on: uniquely prepared.

OUR VALUES

OUR ANCHOR,
THEIR COMPASS.

In the Jesuit tradition, Loyola emphasizes cura personalis, or “care of the whole person,” in each of our students. Loyola educates the whole person by fostering intellectual, physical, psychological, social, and spiritual health and well-being. This well-rounded ideal is reflected in our liberal arts curriculum, and in our university values of integrity, diversity, community, justice, service, leadership, and discernment. So not only do our graduates become valuable employees, but employees with values. You can count on Loyola graduates to demonstrate sound judgment and ethics in everything they do.

Leaders From Our Pack

Loyola’s Career Center provides the opportunity for employers to interview highly qualified students and recent graduates on Loyola University's main campus. Through the On-Campus Recruitment Program, we will schedule, arrange, and inform the students and faculty of your campus visit so you will have direct access to potential Loyola recruits. Also, through Hounds4Hire, a Web-based system for posting jobs and internships, we make it easy for you to post job openings and peruse the résumés of talented Greyhounds. We also host on-campus interviews, information sessions and career fairs so that you can meet face-to-face with our most passionate and talented students.

GREYHOUNDS
GIVE BACK

When you consider the diverse nature of a Loyola education, it isn’t surprising that many Loyola graduates pursue alternative post-collegiate paths. From the Peace Corps to Teach for America to the National Park Service, many employers have benefited from the perspective and passion that Loyola graduates bring to their new workplaces—wherever it may be. At Loyola, we instill a lifelong devotion to service and social awareness in our students. And in turn, the Loyola perspective extends to the organizations that need it most.

CORPORATE FOUNDATIONS & SPONSORSHIPS

Partnership has its privileges.

From recruitment to endowments and sponsorships, we’re always looking for ways to develop mutually beneficial relationships with new partners. Loyola University Maryland receives substantial financial support from corporate partners and foundations across the region and country. These gifts are crucial in facilitating Loyola's ability to continue pursuing our goal of becoming the leading Catholic comprehensive university in the nation, and help us continue to prepare the next generation of leaders for our corporate partners’ organizations. Aside from gifts and grants, we also work with corporate partners to provide opportunities for them to interact with our students—some of the most sought after potential employees—regionally and nationally. If your organization would like to learn more about becoming one of Loyola's partners, please contact Elizabeth Schroder, director of corporate and foundation relations, here.
