Montessori Tuition and Financial Aid
Students register and pay tuition to Loyola for all courses, both those taken at the partner AMI institute and those taken in residence in Maryland. Loyola's Montessori graduate students pay a reduced per credit tuition in recognition of the fact that they also pay a separate tuition directly to the AMI institute.
Tuition and Payment Schedule
The tuition for students starting the Graduate Program in Montessori Education with a partner AMI Institute during the 2017-18 academic year is $355* per credit hour (for MEd: 36 hours; for CAS: 30 hours). Students pay this tuition fee directly to Loyola University Maryland in addition to the tuition paid to the AMI Institute.
*pending approval from Loyola Board of Trustees
Students are required to submit tuition payments at the time of registration for each term they are enrolled. The number of credits for which a student registers per semester is variable and depends on the format of the AMI training they are pursuing. In addition to tuition, a $25 registration fee is required each term a student is enrolled.

The office of financial aid administers several types of financial assistance for graduate students. Loan assistance is available through the federal government and private lenders. Assistantships are available through several academic and administrative departments. Additionally, individual departments offer a limited number of fellowships, scholarships and grants to assist students with their education expenses.
