Biography:

Amy McGinn joins the Education Specialties Department as a lecturer in Educational Technology. She is completing her doctoral degree in Instructional Technology at Towson University. Her dissertation research focused on how the beliefs and innovativeness of independent school teachers impacted their experiences with professional development for technology integration.  Prior to joining the faculty at Loyola, Amy taught secondary English and Language Arts at schools in the Baltimore area and in Memphis, Tennessee.  She has conducted professional development workshops for technology integration for the Association of Independent Maryland and DC Schools and has presented on educational technology topics at the annual conferences for AIMS and SITE.
