Institute for Urban Instructional Leadership Peter Litchka, Ph.D. The Institute for Urban Instructional Leadership will support the professional development of current and aspiring school leaders; develop curricula, pedagogies and assessments for school leaders and educational leadership programs in order to meet the demands of the contemporary K-16 educational environment; and generate research-based knowledge and practices that can enhance the design of structures, systems and practices to improve the achievement of all students, regardless of their existing social and economic conditions.
