Graduate Study in Educational Technology The Education Specialties department at Loyola offers a Masters degree in Educational Technology. The Masters in Educational Technology is designed to prepare teachers to be educational technology leaders on the school and district level. Graduates of this program will be prepared to be technology specialists, computer coordinators and technology committee chairpersons. Graduates of the program often move on to school or district-level technology positions or choose to remain in the classroom and help the school with technology as technology committee members or chairs. The Educational Technology Program has been nationally recognized by the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE). We have been through a rigorous accreditation process that has reviewed our program based on the ISTE Technology Facilitation standards. Educational Technology classes are held in our state-of-the-art computer labs at our graduate centers in Columbia and Timonium. See the course descriptions for the Educational Technology program.
