| The Homeland Security Advisory System identifies a High Condition of Alert (Code Orange) as the following:
A high risk of terrorist attacks. In the incidence of a High Condition of Alert, Federal departments and agencies are directed to consider the following general measures in addition to the agency-specific Protective Measures that they will develop and implement: - Coordinating necessary security efforts with Federal, State, and local law enforcement agencies or any National Guard or other appropriate armed forces organizations;
- Taking additional precautions at public events and possibly considering alternative venues or even cancellation;
- Preparing to execute contingency procedures, such as moving to an alternate site or dispersing their workforce; and
- Restricting threatened facility access to essential personnel only.
During a High Condition of Alert (Code Orange), Loyola College in Maryland will implement the following measures: - Card readers will be "card access only" after 5 p.m. along the Ennis Parallel;
- Campus Police will increase the number of police vehicle patrols;
- Campus Police will conduct patrols in Campion and Newman garages; and
- Campus Police will reprogram surveillance systems (CCTV) to cover critical campus areas.
