Registration Process

The first step in this process is to set up a time to meet with an advisor to review your academic program plan, answer any initial questions you may have, and register you for your first semester.

Registration begins on the following dates for each term:

  • April 10 for Summer 2017
  • July 17 for Fall 2017
  • November 17 for Spring 2018

All course information is online via our Web Advisor system. To access the schedule you will need to log in into Web Advisor. Detailed instructions are located on the Technology page.   

Although the schedule is online, as a new student you will not have access to online registration until you meet with a program advisor.  During your in-person or phone appointment, we will review your academic plan, discuss options for fall classes, complete your registration using the enclosed green registration form, and answer your questions about the program. However, if upon reviewing your academic plan, you have questions, please contact our office at 410-617-5067.

Web Advisor

Web Advisor is the administrative system used for registration, reviewing degree audits, making payments, checking grades, etc.  

To access the course offerings and schedule (available now):
  1. Log in to Inside Loyola using the username and initial password sent to you by Technology Services.
  2. Go to the Web Advisor block and select Search for Sections. 
  3. Follow a series of drop downs:
  4. Subject is Graduate Business (GB course codes)
  5. To see the entire schedule of courses at both Columbia and Timonium on one list, go directly to SUBMIT.
  6. To sort by location, select one and then SUBMIT.
  7. To review course descriptions and pre-reqs, put cursor over the course title and click.


Moodle is Loyola's course management system and is used to communicate course materials from professors. You can access it via the My Classes section of your Inside Loyola home page. Please familiarize yourself with Moodle through the online tutorial that is offered under Moodle Student Guide. Once you register for a course you will automatically see a list of your courses on your Moodle page. Click on the course name to access the course. It is important that you check your Moodle site prior to the first class so that you may be prepared with any information from the professor. Please note that it is best to use Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer to view Moodle.
