Business Leader of the Year
As a premier provider of business education with an emphasis on ethical business and social responsibility, the Sellinger School hosts this annual event to provide the Baltimore business community an exceptional opportunity to honor the professional, personal, and philanthropic achievements of one of the country's preeminent business leaders. More than 800 business executives, alumni, students, and faculty join together to honor the Business Leader of the Year.
In 2010, Loyola honored Eddie C. Brown, founder and president of Brown Capital Management and a 40-year veteran in investment management, for his commitment to the urban development of Baltimore and for his non-profit work with Turning the Corner Achievement Program (TCAP), an educational initiative he created and funded for African-American middle school students in Baltimore.
