About the program
Business is changing exponentially. Technological innovations and emerging global economies are reshaping the landscape at a breakneck rate making the old rules no longer applicable. To move us forward in this new reality, we need to step away from traditional paths and put leadership in the hands of those ready and able to inspire others with new ways of thinking. We need leaders who are free of the trappings of convention business wisdom. The Emerging Leaders MBA program is for emerging leaders who are ready to innovate, break rules, and test theories against a new, constantly evolving economic environment.
Classes are offered full-time over a 12-month period, beginning in September and ending in August each year. Students will complete the program as a cohort, completing a lock-step curriculum that encourages recent college graduates as well as those with early career experience to learn from the ground up—both in the classroom and through experiential learning.
The program is offered at our graduate center in Columbia, Maryland, a dynamic, diverse, vibrant, culturally enriched, and globally competitive community. The region is known for innovation, entrepreneurship, and its professional, technical, and scientific community. The location is also at the center of the Baltimore-Washington metro area allowing partnerships with business professionals across every sector, providing information sharing and involvement with the region’s economic base.
