A competitive GMAT score is a requirement for admission to our Emerging Leaders MBA, Professional's MBA, Master of Science in Finance, and Accounting Certificate programs.
Please note that the GMAT test may be waived, in some instances, for admission to the Professional's MBA and MSF Program, and is not required for admission to the Executive MBA program.
What is the GMAT?
The GMAT is a computer-adaptive exam that is designed to help graduate schools of business assess the qualifications of applicants for advanced study in business and management. The test consists of four separately timed sections: two 30-minute writing sections and two 75-minute multiple choice sections and is designed to measure general verbal, mathematical, integrative analysis skills, and analytical writing skills.
Where do I take the GMAT?
The GMAT test is owned by The Graduate Admission Council (GMAC) and is offered at Pearson VUE testing centers. There are several test centers in the greater Baltimore –Washington metropolitan area including Baltimore, Columbia, Bethesda, and several in D.C. The Baltimore test center is located just off the Beltway (695) north of I-70. The Columbia test center is located on Broken Land Parkway. The tests are offered 6 days a week and the cost is $250.
