Marketing Department

The Marketing department offers courses in both the undergraduate and graduate business programs.  Undergraduate students can earn a B.B.A. degree with a concentration in Marketing, as well as minor in Marketing. For graduate students who are enrolled in the Evening MBA program, a Marketing Specialization is offered.

The Marketing discipline is designed to prepare students for the many opportunities in the field of marketing. The study of marketing includes marketing principles, principles of selling, consumer behavior, advertising, marketing management, and international marketing. These courses, along with the common business core courses, are designed to provide our students with the appropriate knowledge and skills to understand the function of marketing in the firm and in society and to be effective decision makers.  In addition to offering challenging courses, the Marketing department sponsors the Loyola Marketing Association

The Marketing department faculty can be found on the 4th floor of the Sellinger Building on the Evergreen Campus.  The department chair, Richard Klink, has an office located in the 418 suite.
