The Loyola MBA is professional, comprehensive and flexible. This program is offered in an evening format on two campuses 12 months of the year. The program is self-paced and offers elective options, concentrations and course waivers for applicants with undergraduate business coursework. The MBA can be completed in as few as 33 credits (MBA Fast Track) with a maximum duration of 53 credits, depending on background. Concentrations include: Accounting, Finance, General Business, International Business, Marketing, Management, and Management Information Systems. These attributes represent value added to a Sellinger School graduate program. The typical student pursuing The Loyola MBA is working full-time while taking one to two classes per semester. The average time to degree completion is less than three years, and with intensive study, qualifying students can complete the program in 12 – 15 months. Applicants with an undergraduate degree in business or related field typically receive waivers for MBA Core courses and may qualify for the Loyola MBA Fast Track option with a waiver of as many as ten courses. New students may begin classes in September, January or June. Classes are offered one evening per week in the fall and spring terms and two evenings per week during summer sessions at campuses in Timonium and Columbia. Master’s Plus course options provide a value-added opportunity to the alumni of any accredited master’s degree program in business. Qualifying individuals may take additional courses through the Sellinger School’s MBA program. Many students utilize the Master’s Plus course option to pursue a second concentration area or a grouping of courses in one functional discipline to prepare for professional certifications such as the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) examination.
