Baltimore Orioles add Economics Professor Stephen Walters, Ph.D., as economic advisor

It's another tweak implemented by new Orioles executive vice president Dan Duquette, the Baltimore Sun reports, who has hired Loyola University Maryland’s Stephen Walters, Ph.D., professor of economics at the Sellinger School, to be an economic advisor. Walters, who left the same position with the Chicago Cubs to rejoin Duquette, believes he is the only economic advisor to a baseball team, and "if [other clubs] have them, they are not talking about them.”
