Sellinger School seeks candidates for Leadership Essentials program coaches

Loyola University Maryland’s Sellinger School of Business and Management is accepting applications for Leadership Essentials Class of 2013 coaches. Leadership Essentials coaching applications are due Oct. 15, 2012, and can be downloaded here.
Coaches in the Leadership Essentials program are asked to help participants set goals; to provide feedback, perspective, and encouragement; and to help identify new ways of tackling challenging situations. Applicants should have 10 years of experience in a leadership role and some experience in a coaching role in formal or informal settings in areas such as volunteer organizations, committees, religious groups, or in the professional work environment. Work or experience in a related field such as counseling, teaching or a helping profession is preferred, but not required.
Leadership Essentials is a six-month leadership development program for young professionals living and working in Howard County, Md. Designed to address the critical gap between the skills provided by formal education and the full development of seasoned professionals, Leadership Essentials offers a skill-building program that includes monthly workshops, individual coaching, and team-based projects to address the needs of local non-profit organizations.
