New members inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma and Board of Sponsors member David Wolf inducted as honorary member

The Loyola chapter of the Beta Gamma Sigma business honor society inducted its new members on the evening of April 18 at its Spring induction ceremony. The inductees included 34 undergraduate and 37 graduate students, invited for membership due to their outstanding achievement in scholarship and service.

Beta Gamma Sigma also invited the 2009 Business Achievement honoree, Mr. David Wolf, for honorary membership to the society. Mr. Wolf, Executive Vice President for Medical Systems and Corporate Development at CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield, is a 1972 graduate of Loyola and earned his MBA from Loyola in 1977.  Mr. Wolf also serves on the Board of Sponsors for the Sellinger School of Business and Management, where he has been a board member for 20 years, serving as Chairman of the Board from 2000 to 2005.

Membership in Beta Gamma Sigma is the highest international recognition a business student or faculty member can receive in an undergraduate, masters or doctoral program at a school accredited by The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International (AACSB).
