Economics professor Tom DiLorenzo has been invited to deliver a series of lectures at the University of Prague in April 2008 to coincide with the annual Prague Conference on Political Economy. DiLorenzo will also give the Cuhel Memorial Lecture at the conference.

The Prague Conference on Political Economy is an international and interdisciplinary gathering of scholars and supporters of the Austrian School of Economics and political economy of freedom. The conference seeks to foster the tradition of Austrian economics and the liberty-oriented thinking that thrived in central Europe at the beginning of the 20th century. By establishing an annual forum for scholars and students to meet and exchange ideas, conference organizers hope to build a solid institutional basis for the advancement of the Austrian research program.
