Bio As the co-director of the special education program, the coordinator of the special education practicum program, and an instructor in the undergraduate and graduate programs, Ms. Rosensteel enjoys observing students apply the knowledge that they have gained. Her areas of interest include urban education, inclusive education, and teacher resilience. Ms. Rosensteel has 20 years of experience as an urban educator. While working with the Baltimore City Public Schools, Ms. Rosensteel taught special education students in a variety of settings and held administrative positions at the school-based and central office levels. Her accomplishments include developing and directing the Canton K-12 Citywide Inclusion Project, a professional development initiative that supported inclusive education programs for students with special needs.
When not at work, Ms. Rosensteel enjoys outdoor activities with her husband, son, and dog at their home near the Chesapeake Bay.
